I don\'t remember what I was browsing, but some user profile or blog post somewhere mentioned Collar 6, so I went and checked it out. Got hooked right away, and read through the newest post (#387) within 2-3 days. It\'s an interesting alternate universe where kink is the mainstay, unlike our own. Yes, it\'s fictional, and yes, the characters can be hyperbolic, but ultimately it captures the essence of a Master/slave relationship, complete with its flaws. Yes, sometimes slaves step out of line, and yes, sometimes a Dom/me crumbles under the weight of their shortcomings. That\'s what makes the story compelling.
The world they live in gets more strange and fantastical with each new strip. Part of me would prefer a straight-up BDSM comic, but I don\'t find it any less compelling just because it isn\'t. BDSM psuedo-superhero/villain stories with spiritual overtones isn\'t exactly my go-to genre, but it works.
And honestly, I\'ve seen I-Wanna-be-a-Marysue\'s comments on several comics I read, and it\'s clear that her experiences (i.e. lack of) preclude her from the humor being shared by the authors. If you\'re not a kinkster, this one\'s probably not for you. If you\'re not an adult (and I mean an actual adult, not just that you think you\'re an adult because you\'re some arbitrary age), then this is very likely not for you. Why waste breath/bandwidth/everyone\'s time by posting and uninformed opinion that nobody cares about? There should really be a way to vote down unhelpful reviews. |

| I think I\'ve bitten off more than I can chew, but I have decided that Collar 6 is now my comic\'s rival (The Space Between). I just wanted to have a rival lol. |
