Synopsis:
Cajun-spiced, superpowered, hot n' heavy, dark n' deadly science fiction goodness in every everlovin' spoonful.
In 2010, the lives of five people were unraveled under the iron fist of a parasitic universe leaving them cursed thereafter with power over the elements. Juno, the controller of Air, has made a mess since, making enemies with the Cajun mafia and the NOPD, fighting to survive alongside her Controller friends - but being a fugitive isn't what's keeping her awake at night. Nightmarish premonitions haunt her that the attack that left them cursed was only a warning shot... and it won't be the last.

Star Cross'd Destiny was a fairly good story with a uniquely refreshing art style. Unfortunately the author suffers from a dying desire to draw it. the reasons are twofold
1) The author is in poor health
2) Her motivation for the story was drawn from a relationship she was having, they eventually had a nasty breakup and now she has no more motivation.
You could consider this work to be on an extended hiatus, however it may be years (author's words) so you might just want to remove it from your favorites or not add it at all. |

Some of the people who've written comments below seem to forget such hits as 'The Highlander', which throws you into a story with little or no introduction to the characters and you're wondering what in the hell is going on. However, as the story progresses, you are introduced to backgrounds and storylines. This comic is no different.
I found no great issues with the storyline when I read book 1 straight through, and I quite enjoy the art. It's better than many I have seen who fancy themselves 'artists', and it's what drew me to this comic initially.
However, some people require too much instant gratification to allow the comic to get to a point of explanation. If this means you, then maybe SCD is not for you. It does not mean that SCD is not an excellent comic, though. |

well then is there anything more to say? the only flaw I could see is that Starcrossed destinty is better read as a whole read rather than wait for a a M-W-F shedule . it's really great to read it for free thought ^^ |
