Looking for Group
|
|
Synopsis:
Looking For Group is the newest brain child of Ryan Sohmer and Lar DeSouza, the brilliant duo that brings us Least I Could Do. The story is set in a parody fantasy universe, lampooning all levels of mainstream lore stories on a bi-weekly basis. The comic focuses on the adventures of a naive Elf, a charming, but frighteningly devious warlock, a priestess, a powerful and tactical Tauren warrior, and their panther, Soomba.

I followed the \"Looking For Group\" comic for a few years. How many, I couldn\'t say, but it started off well enough. However, over the last year or so it\'s lost my interest. The addition of \"Non-Player Character\" and \"Tiny Dick Adventures\" hasn\'t helped, so I dropped it the day I wrote this review. |

I dont like this webcomic. The art is interesting, and there is a mature mind there somewhere but on the whole, it\'s not nice. I dont find it engaging. I dont find it insightful. It\'s sily, and to me, not silly in a bad way.

As has been said here, there is exactly one interesting character: Richard. The rest are weak stereotypes with nothing interesting going on, much less funny. Richard successfully carries the comic through much of it\'s archives, but in recent months the comic has been just AWFUL. Partly, this is because Richard has been de-emphasized, but even when he does try to use Richard, Richard just isn\'t as funny as he used to be. This comic is in free fall, and I am dropping it from my faves. |

Awsome comic, just starting but the potential is overwelming. Every comic so far is full of laughs. If you like flaming bunnies, wanton violence in a fantasy setting this is for you. |
