Synopsis:
For 300 years, the peoples of the Virgin Islands have had a guardian. Called "The Angel of St. Thomas", it has fallen upon eleven generations of the same family to be that guardian. Each granted with special abilities, but also a weakness, they have faithfully carried out their duty to protect the islands and their inhabitants. Carlita is the twelfth generation to be so called. But with even her rare gifts, can she hold off the greatest threats to challenge her people in this day and age?
