Synopsis:
The serpent is cold - detacted from the world and everyone in it, striking without compassion or care at the whim of profit. In fact, there is only one thing she ever wanted, and someone just offered it up for doing what she does naturally - kill a man she knows nothing about.

More generally, this is a science fiction story - The world was broken, so we built it again. But this time around, it was built to be controled, safe, and rigid, by people who felt that they held the best of all knowledge.
It\'s a journey that starts in revenge and ends up somewhere rather different than expected. Expect assasins, powerdrunk authority, and a future society run by the worst of our past.
