Synopsis:
“Little Fish in a Big Pond” is a daily web-comic that follows the lives of two freshman university students in China. Ma Ya Nan and Wang Xiao Yu grew up together in a small mountain town in rural China and have always been very competitive. Ma Ya Nan has always dreamed of getting out of her small town and moving to a big city. She hopes one day to start her own business, work for a foreign company or perhaps go abroad. Wang Xiao Yu was very successful in school and has always been well-liked in the village for being a gentle and kind-hearted boy. In some ways, the university life is overwhelming to Xiao Yu, who still longs for the simple days of his youth. Through the daily adventures of Ma Ya Nan and Xiao Yu, we experience the challenges, triumphs, heartaches and joys of university life along with these students and their classmates.
