Synopsis:
Even in Arcadia is a Fantasy Steampunk comic by Anise Shaw. It\'s a dramatic and political long form story that updates once a week.

Laelen is the new apprentice to a well respected Fae master, learning magic from his, and his past masters\' wellspring of knowledge.

Laelen is different though, she is a human from a completely different part of the world. Excited, at first, to be the first of her kind to learn the deepest secrets of magic, she\'s suddenly confronted with an angry and hostile population. From political intrigue to daily verbal abuse, her dream of one day being an Emerged is starting to look a little more like a nightmare.
