Synopsis:
The corrupt city of Eterno is surrounded by walls, not to keep its denizens in, but to keep out the man-made monsters of the wilderness. Within the walls, the powerful and immortal shifter races are locked in an eternal power-struggle. Amid it all, a Draconian shape-shifter named Nine is just trying to make a difference by killing people. When he is arrested and sentenced to life in a military research lab, he meets Dice, a brilliant Phoenix doctor. Their perceptions of reality, justice, and love are never quite the same again.
