Synopsis:
The undisputed instigator of the adventure, Dave Baldwin, motor man and proud owner of the Laser Train. Although he is fairly run-off-the-mill and uncomplicated in his demeanour, he is good natured and has his heart in the right place. In his naïvety, he makes both friends and enemies, and he can be as frustrating as he can be loveable. However, when push comes to shove, he can prove a valuable ally and a spontaneous leader, perplexing all around him. His friendship with Sjoerd is still a mysterious affair, as both seem to live in completely separate worlds of their own. In the end, all Dave wants to do is drive his train to destiny - and who could possibly argue against that?
