Synopsis:
Obscuro is a town that exists in the Victorian~Edwardian era whose geographical location of course is obscure. It is filled with many eccentric characters, buildings that seem to harness their own esoteric secrets and of course cats. Cats play an important role in Obscuro as the reader will find out as the stories about Obscuro unfold. Right now, Sanctus Sanatorium is the first of many tales and is done in sequencial panel form such as in a graphic novel. Other stories maybe in a different format such as chapters with many illustrations. But that is in the future.
Sanctus Sanatorium is an asylum built in the same fashion of the Kirkbride Buildings that sprang up in the mid 1800′s to house the homeless and the insane. Though Sanctus is Latin for Holy, there isn’t much of anything that is Holy roaming its halls in this story. This tale contains mature content and isn’t recommended for young readers.
