Synopsis:
Glaciologists tempt fate by venturing into barren arctic land for scientific evidence that could change the world. But the harsh desert climate has other plans for the two explorers. Meanwhile, in the early 1930s, a man struggles to distill bourbon from the waters of a strange river, where snails seem to live forever. All while prohibition threatens to derail his pursuit of a 92 proof medicinal breakthrough.

Nature’s strange relationship with man is traversed, in a place called Bourbon, Antarctica.
