Synopsis:
Jay is a struggling musician trying to get a big break, or at least a steady job that will pay him to make music. Max is a struggling writer who can’t even get a job at the local paper, let alone write the book he’s always wanted to. They live together in a small apartment in New Jersey, contemplating life’s greater mysteries, like “Why can’t we make money doing what we love?” and “Hey, is this edible?” Along with their friends, they try in desperation to surmount life’s obstacles and finally find a way to make a living doing what they love most: creating.
