Synopsis:
Everyone in the town of Mosscreek has been effected.
Subtle strings being pulled by something.
Unknown. Alien. Sinister.
The fog that lays over the town covers the eyes of the world for a rite to take place.
People go on with their lives.
Shipments come in from the sea and trucks come in off the interstate to make their deliveries.
But the people of the town ignore the high strangeness.
Of decrepit monoliths in the forest. Lichen covered stone altars sitting on the bluff. Of blackened pools that never dry, near the old quarry. Passages on the islands off the coast, leading deep underground into the dark.
The only ones who notice are six kids - all banded together because they know something isn’t right.
Three that grew up in Mosscreek and three that grew up in a world next door.
