Etsu is an escaped Silai slave who has turned to banditry to survive. The Silai are a race of multi-limbed humanoids with prehensile tails enslaved by humans on the world known as Harras. It is down to Etsu to discover her destiny and along with her lover Tanaka, the witch-queen Madralenne and an imp named Gretchel, seek out the true history of her people and free them from bondage. Dark and rude humour abound.
