Synopsis:
Prophesy. The inextricable power of prophesy forever binds the magical world of Lore with the world of science called Earth. On Lore, magic users rule kingdoms filled with beasts, dragons, and fables, while on Earth, science and technology stands as the only measure of reality and substance. Separating the two opposite worlds is an impenetrable dimensional barrier known only as the Shadow Lands.
The prophesy, forgotten on Earth but mumbled and discussed amongst insane vagabonds on Lore, spoke of an apocalypse that would result in the horrifying death of both worlds. But the prophesy of death was accompanied by a prophesy of hope, for legend had it that a child would be born, a child bound to both worlds. The promised child, however, was destined to be not only a harbinger of light, but of darkness, a bringer of death as well as life.
