Below is a list of synopses created by UglyShirts that are currently in use.
Comic: Beevnicks, The |
Mr. Beevnick is a perpetually smiling suburban guy with an erection that refuses to subside...Kind of like the "Enzyte" guy. His wife is a frigid catholic. Together, they have a son with an enormous head who's smarter than both of them put together, and some sporadically-appearing daughters who show up to move things along in case the plot gets too slow. Sure, it sounds odd, and it is. But because it comes from Owen Dunne, the same fella who brings you "That Damn Kid", it's also pretty funny. |
Comic: Captain Excelsior |
Captain Excelsior is a superhero. A chauvinistic, thick-skulled, socially-inept superhero. He has three kids with his Ex-Wife Mrs. Mind, and even though two of them have super powers, he doesn't bother to remember their names. His life crumbled along with his marriage, and it's hurt him to watch Mrs. Mind get her act together...But it hasn't hurt him so much that he's bothered following suit. Still, his good friends Maine Event and Mephisto are doing their best to help him acclimate back into the dating scene, albeit with mixed results. A host of fun supporting characters keeps things interesting. Co-created by the twisted gents behind Grumps and Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. |
Comic: Deep Fried |
Deep Fried follows the adventures of Beepo the Clown, his cat Roadkill, and a cast of oddball supporting characters as they stumble through life, trying to make sense of an ever-changing social and political climate. There's content aplenty at whatisdeepfried.com...in addition to the weekly strip, there is also hilarious flash animation, and regular blog entries. |
Comic: IRKWorks |
Irk Works is a comic that takes a look at a world where everything got up and quietly took one step to the left while your back was turned. |
Comic: non-adventures of wonderella, the |
Wonderella is a superhero...But she's also a modern woman with hopes, dreams, and more issues than a newsstand. Join her as she fights ninjas, bears, Nazis, clowns, and a host of other miscreants, all while keeping her sidekick in line, and trying to fit in a little "me time" once in awhile. |
Comic: Not Invented Here |
Behind each great piece of software is a talented, conscientious team of hardworking individuals dedicated to producing the highest quality product using internationally accepted best practices and industry standards. And then there are these guys. \"Not Invented Here\" is a collaboration between \"Ugly Hill\" artist Paul Southworth, and the writer of \"Unshelved,\" Bill Barnes. |
Comic: Reptilis Rex |
In the not-so-distant future, an underground civilization of reptilian humanoids now lives on the surface, and attempts to blend with the "regular" folk. There are...problems. Follow former emperor (and current low-level retail employee) Krel Irontail as he grits his mandibles through some of the more challenging ones. |
