Mikey who misses the old days of warehouses, turntablism, and good vibes, that have all been replaced with cover charges, dress codes, and crowds that are more interested in looking cool than going to see their favorite DJ. His frustration is broken by a mysterious song that sounds like the good old days. He has to know what this song is.
Mikey dives into an obsession with finding this song, but it’s elusive. Each time he hears it, reality starts to unravel around him. The next time he hears it, a girl appears who knows the lyrics. He’s drawn to her like a succubus and she takes him on a wild chase through the city. He eventually catches up with her, and it’s revealed that she’s a spirit channeled by the song. He learns through her to stop letting his obsessions keep him unhappy when they can’t be fulfilled. |
