| I was inspired to create Sketchbook Shrink so I could work through some of the issues in my life. I’m an Asian American transracial adoptee and a sequential artist who walks through life on the nerdy side- it’s about time I combined the two. In my webcomic I’m drawing stories about daily life, funny/weird/upsetting things that have happened to me, and pondering various philosophical subjects. I’m also proud to be tackling issues related to racial identity, racism, and some of the challenges that come from ones outside appearance not always matching their inner identity. I hope my comic will inspire discussion and thought related to these issues, while also delivering a healthy dose of humor. |
