in the author's own words "Waking Into Reality is about Alethea and how she has isolated herself from the world, not really noticing how she's been affecting the people around her. She feels that her friends abandoned her when she really pushed them out of her life and her reality. Also What do you do when everything you every knew changes in a instant and you suddenly find yourself alone? Would you rather exist within your own "dream" where you can keep everyone else out and prevent yourself from getting hurt again or do you wake and realise that you shouldn't give up on your future? "
