Synopsis:
Strange portals are opening up across the land, with each of them leaking something bad into the real world. A group of friends were near one when it opened; they got pulled in, and when they came out, they found themselves changed. Calling themselves the Rifters, they made it their mission to close the rifts by force - jump in, and close them from the inside! Each rift is a totally different type of place, so the team must adapt to constantly changing situations.
Working seemingly at cross purposes is a scientist and his sociopathic study specimen, who are doing their best to open rifts wherever they go. With action and a touch of comedy, The Rifters balances multiple ongoing storylines in a world changing around the main characters.
