ChrusherComix is an ongoing comic book and interconnecting graphic novel created, written, and illustrated by Christopher Galletta Stevens.
Chrusher: End Cycle - The Graphic Novel: Currently being produced, End Cycle is A serial killer systematically slaughters three people. And although forensic artist/private detective Chace "Chrusher" Kristoph has been tracking the psychopath, a mysterious psychic detective named Neeja Sakra alerts him that he may have unwittingly become the target of the killer he seeks. All the while haunted by a beautiful woman from his past. A globe-spanning thriller about crime, love, hatred, and revenge. This Graphic Novel makes its live debut both on the website and in serialized comic book format before released as a book.
Although it is a published professional caliber graphic novel, it has come a long way from its immature yet humble beginnings. The comic was initially an unpublished "sketchbook with a storyline\' that began in 1988 when the author was a 14-year-old high school freshman, and mostly done in high school study halls (and instead of homework - oops!). The comic then also went from unpublished comic book to simultaneously published strips in the local newspapers and promptly won several high ranking awards.
Classic ChrusherComix: It is the year 1988, and two 14-year-old high school misfits and nerds -- named Mike Butski and Ronald Foule -- have a fight in the Oswegonian High School hallways, then drag Chris Crusher into their spat. This seemingly meaningless high school disagreement birthed a twenty year grudge match which spreads all the way to the "Chrusher: End Cycle" graphic novel. Witness the humble beginnings of the "ChrusherComix" universe and watch it grow from an amateur, silly serial in a high school notepad twenty years ago to a full-fledged comic book today.
