Up to a few years ago, I used to make a couple of vastly incorrect assumptions.
I thought everybody saw lightning in their eyes whenever a door slammed. And then I learned it was just me. A product of my synesthesia.
I also thought that everyone invented stories in their minds in their free time, which would simply play right there and rather naturally, as if they had an inner TV screen that could be switched on and off. Wrong again.
So, here I am, with my senses tangled up, watching my perfectly sharp and bright TV screen in my mind.
